From the 16th Century French word "Lacere"; to entice - Lace making is the ancient art of seemingly magical fingers, able to loop, twist and braid threads into intricate designs restricted only by the imagination.

Lace designs can be traditional, using fine white threads following patterns passed down through generations, or can be fresh, contemporary and modern - using vibrant colours and varied textures to produce tactile garments.

Based in Scotland, FaeryLace specialises in bespoke commissions from beautiful bridal items such as garters and edgings to cashmere soft scarves of various lengths, using chunky threads and in dazzling colours.

Each piece is handmade on request so it's advisable to contact well in advance of a specific date!
